  Monument to the Holy Heart of Jesus
  The fourth Count of Puerto Hermoso (Don Fermando de Soto y Aguilar) gave orders to form an image consecrated to the Holy Heart of Jesus at the beginning of the 20th century.

  The San Pedro Apóstol Parish Church is a single-nave temple of mudejar style which was built in the 17th Century on the same site where Diego Romero (founder of Pizarra) placed the first church in the village two centuries before.

  Sisters of the Cross Convent
  It was founded by Don Pedro de Soto y Domecq, the fifth Count of Puerto Hermoso, a descendant of the former founders of our town. On having entered as a Carthusian monk, he wanted to show evidence of his great love for Pizarra, by establishing this building in favour of the poor, sick and needy people.

  Bridges over the Guadalhorce river
  Two important sites to be pointed out are the bridges over the Guadalhorce river. The railway bridge, the first one over the river, was inaugurated in 1863.
